Private Training Sessions - Tailored to your needs
- Dates are customized
- Timing is customized
- In Los Angeles (Location Based on Training)
- See pricing guidance below
Magen Am runs private sessions at any skill level, with a curriculum tailored for your group. We will accommodate between 1 – 10 people in each two hour session. Minors are allowed to attend as long as a parent is present and they are old enough to follow all safety instructions.
Pricing depends on the number of people who attend. The cost is $250/hour for instructor time plus $100/participant (this fee starts at the second participant. It is made up of a $40 range fee and $60 of ammo costs. If you are bringing your own ammo, $60 will be waived). The cost is totaled and divided by the number of participants for a per person cost.
For example,
If only 1 person wants a private session, the cost would be as follows:
$250/hour for 2 hours = $500
No additional participant fee
Ammo is included
Total cost = $500
If 4 people wanted a private session and Magen Am provides ammo for everyone, the cost would be as follows:
$250/hour for 2 hours = $500
$100/participant for 3 additional participants = $300
Total cost = $800
Cost per participant = $800 divided by 4 people = $200/person
If 4 people wanted a private session and were bringing their own ammo, the cost would be as follows:
$250/hour for 2 hours = $500
$40/participant for 3 additional participants = $120 (i.e. no participant is paying the $60 ammo fee)
Total cost = $620
Cost per participant = $620 divided by 4 people = $155/person

Firearms 101 Lecture and Q&A
“Firearms 101” Lecture and Q&A - The training will be focused on responsible firearms ownership – from purchasing your first firearm to discussing training, licensing, and other key considerations, including safe storage.

Learning and implementing the critical four rules of gun safety
Understanding the options of firearms and why you might choose one over the other
Insight into the need for consistent learning and training
Legal considerations in realizing there is a third fight to be prepared for
How to be a responsible firearm owner
